Our abortion clinic is located in a secure and private suite within Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG), a major tertiary care hospital and San Francisco’s only Level I Trauma Center. Our abortion clinic’s location allows us to treat even the most medically complicated and high-risk patients in a safe and comfortable environment.

Attending Physicians

The attending physicians of San Francisco General’s abortion clinic are all faculty members of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).

Licensed Nursing Staff

Licensed nursing staff are present during and after all phases of the abortion to give patients the highest quality of care and support.

Counselors

Our abortion clinic’s counselors provide individual counseling and patient education before the abortion, and offer support during and after the procedure. They are bilingual and bicultural in English, Spanish, and Cantonese. Interpreters are available for most other languages.
